Job Description:
A company is looking for a Digital News Writer/Editor to create
nostalgia-based and TikTok viral content.
Key Responsibilities
Produce a high volume of content covering entertainment, human
interest, society and culture, and lifestyle topics
Pitch new story ideas and research trending topics on social media
platforms
Adapt to various content types and maintain awareness of news and
entertainment trends from the 1970s to present
Required Qualifications
At least two years of experience writing for a news website in a
fast-paced environment
Experience at a national news brand is preferred
Familiarity with social media trends and viral content
Ability to work remotely during set hours of 9 AM to 5:30 PM
EST
Comfortable handling a high volume of content and pivoting between
various topics
