Northeastern Ohio, NP/PA - Oncology / Hematology Opening

• Clinical Role:
  • Seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant
  • One year clinical experience as NP/PA in Hem/Onc - Required
  • Experience with management of VAD/CV Catheters, FNA/Biopsy, Chemotherapy - Intrathecal, Chemotherapy - Intracavitary - Intrapleural/Peritoneal - REQUIRED
  • Duties include:
    • Participation on a Tumor Board
    • Blood Bank
    • Order Tests
    • Order Images
    • Prescribes
    • BLS and ACLS Required
    • Permanent employment opportunity
    • Schedule:
      • Full time negotiable schedule options available
      • On Call Requirements: 10 days/month
      • Work with one full-time experienced neurologist and one part-time experienced neurologist.
      • Practice Setting: Outpatient
      • See 50% adult and 50% geriatric patients
      • Average Number of Patients Per Day (OUTPATIENT): 15-20
      • Average Number of Patients Per Day (HOSPITAL): 3-5
      • Case types:
        • 25% Hematology
        • 75% Oncology
        • 186 beds
        • EMR: EPIC
