Job Description:

• Perform the below, but not limited to electrical testing in accordance with IEEE and ANSI standards
  
  • Insulation Resistance
  • Winding Resistance
  • Turns Ratio
  • Energize at full voltage
  • No load loss test
  • Full load losses
  • Impedance
  • Polarity
  • HiPot
  • Induced
    
  • Sweep Frequency Response Analysis
  • Analyze test data and provide go forth recommendations.
  • Oversee all calibration as pertains to test department along with coordinating with outside vendors for calibration.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on all test equipment.
  • Oversee Novice and Specialist Test technicians across all shifts.
  • Operate overhead crane * Move transformers in and out of test area.
    • Previous transformer testing required
    • HS Diploma/GED, preferred.
    • Technical College is a plus.
    • Previous electronics experience, preferred.
    • Must be proficient with Windows operating system.
    • Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
    • Ability to help team members resolve questions, helps with the work load and knows when to elevate.
    • Professional language, appearance, and conduct exhibited at all times.
    • Capacity to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required.
